David Kopka:
A local photographer, has an aspiration … to have us all experience the outdoors.
I share my photos and experience’s with others and they invariable say:
“Wow where in the world did you get that shot”?
99% of my photographs were taken locally, literally within miles of my home.
What if we all agree to put aside 1 to 2 hours a week (it’s a start) and pledge this time to be away from the screens, away from electronic stimulation and appreciate the peace and quiet you find out your door, or at a park/forest preserve. You will find yourself in a different state of mind.
Everyone sees things differently.
The way I see the world is captured in many of my photographs, and I love to share that perception with others.
Being surrounded by nature can transport you to another place,
Listen to the sounds … most will find peace and solitude.
Please come with me and then go out experience the world yourself.
